Pickup and Delivery Service — Terms and Rules

Service area

  • Free pickup and delivery are available within a 30-mile radius of 104 Maddex Square Drive.

  • For addresses beyond 30 miles, see surcharge and weight exemptions below.

Surcharge and weight threshold

  • Orders picked up or delivered more than 30 miles from 104 Maddex Square Drive incur a $15 surcharge when the total order weight is under 150 pounds.

  • Orders of 150 pounds or more are exempt from the surcharge and receive free pickup and delivery regardless of distance.

Missed pickups and reminders

  • We send multiple reminders (by phone, text, and/or email) before each scheduled pickup.

  • A missed pickup fee of $5 will be charged for each occasion where the pickup is missed and no access is available.

  • If a customer has two missed pickups, Whale of a Wash reserves the right to cancel pickup and delivery service for that account.

Scheduling and access

  • Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses and any necessary entry instructions (gate codes, building access, etc.) at the time of scheduling.

  • If access is not provided at the scheduled time and the pickup is missed, the missed pickup fee applies.

Billing and payment

  • Surcharges and missed pickup fees will be added to the customer’s invoice and must be paid according to our standard payment terms.

  • Any dispute about fees should be reported to Whale of a Wash customer service within 7 days of the invoice date.

How to avoid fees

  • Ensure contact information is up to date so reminders reach you.

  • Provide reliable access to the pickup location at the scheduled time.

  • Consolidate orders to 150 pounds or more when practical to qualify for free pickup beyond the 30-mile radius.

Cancellation and changes

  • To reschedule or cancel a pickup without penalty, notify us at least at time of final reminder and well before the scheduled pickup time.

  • Repeated failure to adhere to scheduling rules may result in suspension or cancellation of pickup and delivery privileges.
